To preserve your jewelry for longer, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep. Apply perfume and cosmetics before putting it on, and let them dry. Limit contact with household products and avoid repeated friction.

Silver can tarnish on contact with certain compounds in the air, even when jewelry is not worn. To restore the shine of the silver parts, gently use a special silver polishing cloth, following its instructions. Store the jewelry separately in a dry place.

A gold polishing cloth can restore the shine of plating in good condition when its instructions allow this use. Wipe very gently, without pressing or repeatedly rubbing, as friction can wear away the plating. We recommend removing your jewelry before showering and exercise: perspiration and cosmetics can contribute to deterioration and oxidation of the underlying metal. If the plating exposes the base metal, seek advice before rubbing it further.

Use it much more gently, without repeated rubbing: excessive friction can wear away the gold layer. Gold plate can change in appearance as the coating wears and the underlying metal oxidizes. Why can silver darken even when I am not wearing my jewelry?
