For over fifteen years, Kalinas & Tainos has been designing and assembling customizable jewelry in Saint-Barthélemy, combining Tahitian, South Sea, freshwater, and Akoya cultured pearls, rare conch pearls, gemstones, ancient coins, kangaroo leather, sterling silver 925, and gold. Before storage, gently wipe the fossil, cord, leather and optional pearl with a soft, dry cloth. Perspiration, cosmetics and other deposits can damage them over time, even inside a jewelry box. Avoid perfume, household cleaners, impacts and friction. MOKUBA cord tolerates water and an occasional swim is possible. To preserve the fossil and optional pearl over time, however, we recommend removing the necklace before swimming, showering, sport and sleep. Repeated wet-dry cycles, as well as salt and chlorine, can strain the cord and affect the natural materials. After sea or pool water, rinse briefly with fresh water and allow to air-dry naturally. The leather version should be removed before swimming.

What is the difference between MOKUBA cord and leather?

MOKUBA cord is included in the price and suits everyday wear. Hand-rolled kangaroo leather brings a different presence and adds €20. Remove the leather version before showering, swimming, sport and sleep.

Can I swim while wearing this necklace?
