To preserve your jewelry for longer, we recommend removing it before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep. Apply perfume and cosmetics before putting it on, and let them dry. Limit contact with household products and avoid repeated friction.

To restore the shine of the gold parts, use a special gold polishing cloth, following its instructions. For everyday wiping, a soft, clean, dry cloth removes marks left after wear.

After wear and before storage, gently wipe the pearls and the metal parts with a soft, clean, dry cloth. This removes traces of perspiration, cosmetics and other deposits that can affect the materials over time, even while the jewelry remains in its box. Store the jewelry separately to limit friction. If it is damp, let it dry naturally before putting it away.

Ultrasonic and steam cleaners are not suitable for pearls. A polishing cloth explicitly suitable for pearls can also help remove surface deposits and restore their shine.

Can I restore my pearls’ shine with a polishing cloth?

Yes, provided you choose a cloth explicitly suitable for pearls and follow its instructions. Wipe their surface gently to remove deposits that can dull their shine. On some cloths, only the finishing side is suitable for pearls. The label “Silver polishing cloth” alone does not guarantee that its treated side is suitable for nacre. A soft, clean, dry cloth remains a good choice for everyday wiping.

Will the overtones be identical to those in the photographs?

Each cultured pearl has its own shades, luster and surface characteristics. The selected color represents a family of shades, rather than a perfectly uniform color. We make every effort to select a pearl or composition as close as possible to the photograph, while respecting the chosen options and the balance of the jewelry.
