Opals and Round Tahitian Pearl Adjustable Bracelet

Opal is a hydrated silica gemstone. Some opals display play-of-color caused by diffraction of light within their internal structure. Ethiopian opals are known for their varied appearances and colorful reflections.

Tahitian cultured pearls are produced by the Pinctada margaritifera pearl oyster in French Polynesia. They are known for naturally dark body colors and varied overtones.

The construction uses polyester jewelry thread, available in gray or white. These two shades preserve the opals’ brightness. Black is not offered because it would visually darken the inside of the beads. This design is not available in leather.

Your jewelry is designed to accompany you through everyday life. A few simple habits help preserve the beauty of its materials and the quality of its construction.

Remove it before showering, swimming, exercise and sleep. Perspiration, friction and repeated exposure to water, perfume or cosmetics can affect the opals, pearl and thread over time. Apply perfume and cosmetics before putting on your jewelry, then let them dry.

Protect the opals and pearl from knocks, direct heat and cleaning products. Do not use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner.

After wear and before storage, gently wipe the opals, pearl and thread with a soft, clean, dry cloth. If the jewelry is damp, let it dry naturally before storing it. Store it separately to limit friction, and regularly inspect the thread and sliding knots.

How should I measure the desired length?
Measure the place where you will wear the piece. Wrap a string around your wrist, ankle or neck at the desired height, then measure the resulting length. Select the corresponding value between 10 and 60 cm.

What is the difference between the bracelet, anklet and necklace versions?
The construction is the same. The bracelet is included in the price, the anklet adds €40 and the necklace adds €120 because the longer versions require more opals.

Why is the thread offered only in gray or white?
Gray and white preserve the opals’ natural brightness. Black thread would visually darken the inside of the beads and change their appearance.

Can this design be made in leather?
No. This piece is designed exclusively with polyester jewelry thread to preserve the fine construction and the light within the opals.

How should I care for this piece?

Will my jewelry look exactly like the photographs?
Pearls and opals have their own shades, patterns and surface characteristics. We select a composition as close as possible to the photographs while respecting your choices and the balance of the piece.
